Decision by EIC
As an EIC, you can access all your own reviewers and AE’s
There are different states that help you to manage the reviewers, AE’s and your tasks.
Now, to add a decision, please proceed as follows:
- In the panel, please click the List of TO-DO: Manuscripts Waiting for EIC Decision.
This title helps you to add your own comments on the manuscript.
- Now, you can see a list of manuscripts waiting for your comments. Click the Make a decision by EIC.
There are different parts that must be filled, as an EIC. (Please Attention: Public Comment and Decisions are the most important fields for your comments.
- There are different types of decisions that help you to categorize your own decisions and comments (Major, Minor, Insufficient, Accept, Reject).
- To continue, choose the Accept button and click the Save Review button.
- To continue, click the Submit Review.
- The message shows you that the comments are successfully submitted.
7. To continue the review, Edit Final Files.
Please note that: If the manuscript is assigned to the reviewers or the AE for parallel reviewing, they have to submit their own comments before you submit the decision time.
